Mail Update - No. 8August 30th, 2002

So the nights are drawing in (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere) as the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness approaches.   We're feeling pretty fruity but excited about the latest release on Fflint Central.  It's a trifurcated mini-album running for about 35 minutes and featuring 2 tracks each from Cousin Silas (that dark horse from even darker Yorkshire), Berkowitz Lake & Dahmer (wanted for crimes against tonality) and a new addition to our svelte roster, The Gideon Leeches.  It's called 'Unholy Trinity' and we urge you to get a copy with unseemly haste.

The Gideon Leeches is the work of Steve Nuttall, operating from that most mystical of counties, Wiltshire.  Steve was a pal  from our schooldays in Flint (see the Scrapbook for pictorial proof), but we hadn't been in contact for nigh on 20 years.  Having finally re-established communications recently, we found that he had been amassing all sorts of electronic equipment of the analogue and digital species and using them to concoct a private library of musical experiments.  For 'Unholy Trinity', Steve has created two brand new tracks which open the collection.  Needless to say, we're very, very pleased to welcome The Gideon Leeches to Fflint Central.
THE WEBSITE

To mark the birth of 'Unholy Trinity', there's a new Desktop wallpaper to be found on the Calendar page.  We're very fond of planchettes at FfC.

On the Contact page, you'll find that we've added a PGP key and e-mail address (fflintpgp@bigfoot.com) for those of a secretive disposition, who may want to contact FfC in complete privacy.  Feel free to send e-mail in sealed envelopes, not on postcards!  There's also a Yahoo! ID if you fancy trying to get in touch in real time using Yahoo! Messenger.  Can't guarantee anyone will be sat at the FfC keyboard, but it'd be great to have a chat if you catch us at home.

Until anon
