THE WEBSITE The
Scrapbook has been expanded with the addition of
a new page called List Central. This page will
be a receptacle for lists of manifold nature, updated on an irregular
basis. We've started the ball rolling with the Sawfang
15: a playlist submitted by Tim to The Wire, which
was published in Issue 215 of the magazine. Another list,
All Roads Lead to FfCWeb, is a random selection
of phrases gleaned from webstats, which people have used in Search Engines
and thereby stumbled upon the Fflint Central website. Perhaps the
most distasteful so far, and one which hasn't been put in the list, is
'Dads f***ing their daughters'. We're sure that the saddo who typed
this into Google was slightly disappointed to find the Forgive
Us Our Synths page! Keep checking back for more
goodies.
The ever-popular
Calendar & Wallpapers page has been extended
with two more FREE wallpapers. One is based on the Cousin
Silas debut release 'Lilliput',
whilst the second is a variation on the sleeve art of the brand new
compilation album 'two-eff-m-you'. See
below for more about the compo.
NEW
RELEASES
As promised in the last
Update, the BLD chaps have come up with a new
album. The sharp-eyed will note that it contains more than a hint of
'Missionary District', but this time, it's a
common or garden circular audio disc, which won't jam up your iMac like
'MD' was wont to do. Even better, there's
an extra half hour of new musical torment on this release, which you
surely can't resist.
Each sleeve is hand-numbered
by a complete idiot and only 100 will be hewn. Get 'em while they're
hot. If you've never heard WFMU - do yourself a favour and go to
wfmu.org: it's an inspiration and a refreshing change from the usual cack
that pollutes the aether.
