Malpractice
 
Thanks to everyone who bought Malpractice in the last 6 months. It's been great seeing FfC's music so widely distributed. Heck, we're still reeling from the shock of seeing it listed on Woolworth's and Tesco websites and now it's even available piecemeal for those i-Poddy type people at i-Tunes, MSN and god knows where else. That's very '21st century' of course, but without the sleeve and those liner notes, you're only getting part of the package - no?
 
To add to the Malpractical experience, there's now a video available for viewing on the Birdman site. Yes, Fflint Central's first foray into moving pictures is here, called Verhexen - A Malpractice Trailer.  Rather than plucking a single track from the album, we decided it'd be more interesting and more representative of the compilation to make a new track from little bits of a few tunes - a sort of Fflinty stew containing choice cuts (and no artificial additives).  Using this as a base, the visuals were assembled by Mr Steve 'Spielberg' Nuttall (of The Gideon Leeches fame) from a motley collection of video clips and stills residing in the FfC vaults. We're very pleased with the result, so there's a real danger that we might do some more......
 
Foruminiatures
 
There's a great project organised by DJ Flywheel called Foruminiatures. If you sift through the collection of sub-1-minute pieces, you might find some Ffamiliar names therein..........
 
Merchandise
 
In a bid to make everyone stylish, our Fashion Department have added another irresistable item to the Merchandise page: a svelte black T-shirt emblazoned with the 'Devilhead' logo. A great match for the Black Cap, we're told.
 
2006 stretches before us and for the first time in 5 years, there will be no Fflint Central Calendar. We appreciate how disappointed everyone must feel, but we made the tough decision not to be arsed doing another one with a heavy heart.  The world of cybertechnology moves on and a downloadable pdf with Pamela Anderson quotations on it sadly doesn't hack it anymore. Sorry!
 
The good news is that there are definitely going to be some new FfC releases this year. Stay tuned!
