KPSU

We told the readers of Update No. 15 about Joe Dalglish's new radio show at KPSU in Portland, Oregon. JD's slot is usually laced with a hefty dose of Fflinty music, so we've erected a new page in its honour. There you'll see a playlist from February when Joe went completely doolally and played a solid 2 hours of Fflint Central. We don't know if the good people of Portland were appreciative, but it went down a storm at FfCHQ. Many thanks to KPSU for giving JD free rein to contaminate the airwaves.

THAT 'OLE HOUSE

It's common knowledge that we have an unhealthy obsession with a certain derelict pile of bricks in North Wales known as Gwylfa Hiraethog, which was splashed all over the sleeve of Berkowitz Lake & Dahmer's album 'Contraception of the Gods' in blood red tones. So we were only too happy to include an excellent recent picture of GH on The Red House page, sent to us by Matt Wood, even though it made us sad to see just how little of the place is left standing. Matt did note however that the cellar seemed to be in remarkably good nick. All pictures and info are very welcome.

tUMULtUOUS tRIAtHLEtE

And before we go, just a quick mention of what long-time Fflint Central Champion, owner of tUMULt Records and co-owner of Aquarius Records, Andee Connors will be putting himself through in a few days. Andee has decided to do his bit to support the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society by taking part in a Triathlon in San Francisco this coming weekend. That's a tough thing for even an athlete to do, but for Mr Connors, who by his own admission is not known for looking after himself, it's a huge challenge. So here's a big GOOD LUCK and IECHYD DA! to the man who has done nothing but great things for FfC. And check out his training page for more details of what it's all about - you may even feel inclined to make a contribution.
