Just one item on the agenda for this list, but a
very exciting one for us at FfC. Here's a clipping from the News
page at Revolver
USA/Midheaven Mailorder:
"Birdman has numerous other projects waiting in the wings,
including: [.....] a compilation called
Malpractice, featuring selected weird electronic ambiance and noise
tracks by UK CDR label Fflint Central artists such as Oleum, Pendro,
Berkowitz Lake and Dahmer, The Gideon Leeches, Cousin Silas and Cavendish
Sanguine."
Cripes! Yes, it's true: there's going to be an FfC comp released early in 2004 on the fabulous BIRDMAN label! Hard for us to believe, but now the cat's out of the bag, we thought we might shout it from the bell tower at Fflint Central HQ. It'll be about 70 minutes long and covers as much of the back catalogue as we could shoehorn in. Are we excited? Bloody well right we are!

himself, David Katznelson, can't be thanked enough for dreaming
this plan up and giving our tiny operation such a huge vote of
confidence. The same goes for Andee Connors at Aquarius
Records, the one-man dynamo of enthusiasm for all things
Fflinty, who is responsible for too many great things to mention and who
introduced Mr K. to FfC over there in San Francisco. Andee's own tUMULt label of
course is incubating a monstrous egg containing a brand new album by
Berkowitz Lake & Dahmer. Keep watching the nest
for news of the cuckoo's birth....
